Thanks

I finished detailing my new truck yesterday. Before this forum I thought going through a car wash was detailing . Yesterday I had to have it washed (Water restrictions where I live) at a car wash. Then I:
1. clayed it, (Maguiers)
2. Maguiers Step 2 Polish
3. NXT wax

I absolutely love the results, I want to thank all the people in this forum that supply such good info.

Here are some pictures. (Sorry they are with a camera phone)

Ahh, I remember those days. I used to live in Jonesboro (clayton co.) and every summer there was a water restriction. Darn hotlanta!!!

Ed, have you read the detailing sticky yet? You don't "apply" it, you use it. It's a hunk of clay that you rub the paint with.

Thanks RockPick

Ed I learned alot from the Sticky in this forum. Also learned from doing some searches on this forum. I had never heard of clay until I started coming to this forum.

I am the last person to give advice I am an absolute novice. But for what it is worth, after you read the sticky and do a search, the clay is available at Wally World (Meguiers). Very easy to use, though time consuming.
