Cleaning light gray cloth seats

I have the light gray cloth seats in my 04' and they look like crap. No real dark stains but a bunch of light/medium ones all over. It seems like water will stain these darn things! What do you all recommend on cleaning them? Any help would be appreciated. Thanks in advance
Brandon

About the best thing I found to use was 409 and a terry cloth towel. Spray some on the towel and scrub the spot. Don't use to much or you'll just make a bigger stain. You may have to go over some a couple times.

After you have your seats cleaned to your liking, go pick up some Scotchguard. It works wonders.

I have the same seats and they are a nightmare and YES, raindrops even stain the seats! I asked this same question and was told Ford Upholstery Cleaner works and someone even said to use Armor All PLASTIC & INTERIORS on the seat. He said it says right on the bottle for upholstery and he said it works wonders. I have used several things which only made it worse and just haven't made it to the Ford dealer to get the cleaner. Let ya know...and best of luck.

I use the Armorall Swipes for Plastic and Interiors. Works great on small areas and stains. Would not work too well for a whole seat.

You're going to have a tough time getting anything out really well. I usually drive to the local do-it-yourself wash place and use their shampooer/vacuum. It works pretty well.

Scotch guard is your friend!

Yeah, that is good stuff. I have used that on larger stains. Works very well.
