Lake Orange Pads

How bad does paint have to be to use an orange pad? Also what products are recommended with this pad? I ask because AutoGeeks web site says to use orange, white and gray for the 3 step swirl removal.

Its not just the condition the paint is in that you need to factor. Its the type of machine you're using, the polish, and the type of clear coat thats on the car. The general rule is to start with the least aggressive method and move your way up.
