Leather Interior

What is the preferred leather cleaner/moisturizer/whatever the correct term is? I drive a black 08 FX2 (screw) with the black leather interior. Between normal usage and dogs in and out of the backseat, I'd like something to clean the seats and extend their lifespan as long as possible. I'm all ears.

LOTS of choices here.

Megs 2 step is good. Poorboys Leather Stuff, Leather CPR is a GREAT product to use. Zaino leather conditioner is also good.

I've always liked Lexol as well as the Meguiar 2 Step.

I've got a can of Leather CPR, my Nana bought it for me off a infomercial. I've heard it's supposed to work wonders, I've never tried it though

Leather CPR is good stuff, you can get at Bed Bath and Beyond type stores or if you have a Tack store local.

Get the "jar" version.

comes with a little sponge, dip it, spread it. Enjoy.

Yes, its good stuff. Trust me.

It works better on your leather than it does on KR.

How often would you recommend treating your seats with it?

Well that depends. It makes the seats kind of "slick" if you know what I mean.

It's a light product so it doesn't really soak in to the seats like it does on a KR seat.

I guess the answer is you can use it as often as you want. I wouldn't saturate the seats with it but the cool thing about it, use it, and you can sit on the leather within 10 min.

Thanks for all the options. I see the most popular are the Meguire's 2-step and Leather CPR. I've bought all my Meguire's stuff from Autozone and the like so I'll head up to one and buy your recommendation. Are there any "tricks" to treating the seats? Also, are these the Meguire products you're referring to?

Rollingrock, it's nice to see someone from Keller. I'm there every so often as my parents live out there, it's a great area.
