Well it's that time of the year agian. Pollen's all over the truck. Just wondering if it is safe to QD the pollen off, or if i am risking scratching the truck.

Personally I won't QD my car unless it's after a full detail or maybe after a wash. I'd wash it.

Yea.. that's how i'm trying to get. The only problem is that we are in a drought in NC and to wash i have to take it to the DIY wash and spray it off there.

But you're still dragging it across the surface of the paint ...

Yea that's what i was thinking.... However California Dusters website claims that it picks up dust and pollen without "Dragging it across the paint" due to it's baked in wax or something..

Gah, so confusing.

I've used this method several times on past vehicles and, honestly, while Thumper's correct in essence, I really haven't seen a vsual difference to moan about.

I'm about to do it again... soon.
