Carpet Cleaning

What have you guys found to clean carpet without a perfumey smell? Everything I've tried ends up with some kind of stench that last for days.

I generally use Tuff Stuff. It's readily available, not overly powerful smell wise, not purfumie, leaves a clean smell later, and never seen it damage or discolor.

You can find it in alot of places... Wal-Mart and any auto place really (autozone oreilly's). I think its ina red aerosol can with a yellow top, probably wrong.

Tuff Stuff works, however it does leave behind a residue that actually attracts dirt.

I used to use TS religiously until I found Blue Coral Dry Clean, spray it rub it in, wait for it to dry to powder, vac up.

Also APC+ diluted properly for interior would be my first choice.

This may sounds funny but if you dont need to clean the whole carpet but just have some grease stains or oil spots use carb cleaned. Spray some on a rag and wipe clean, it will evaporate within seconds and wont leave a bad smell. Just keep your doors open while you do it and your good to go. If I gotta do the whole carpets I'll use a steam cleaner.
