? for zaino users

I know the website says they recommend using only 100% cotton towels for removing wax etc. But does anyone use a high quality microfiber towel instead? I would think it would yield the same results if not better using high quality microfiber.

Don't use Zaino, but terry will never touch my paint.

You'll have absolutely no problems utilizing microfiber with Zaino.

I agree 100%. Sal was originally concerned about the inconsistency in quality of MF towels.

If you use high quality MF towels, they will work great with Zaino.

I guess I should have typed, "I don't use Zaino, but terry towels will never touch my paint."

Was a little tired at the time.

...and to think, what in the world did those of us who came before us who achieved absolute paint perfection use...

God forbid.

While there are distinct differences in some 100% cotton terry towels, some are actually much better than some of the crap MF towels that are on the market these days.

Careful as to how you speak... while I understand that you're leaning more towards a higher quality MF towel, please note that, up until just a few short years ago, every Meguiar's bottle mentioned removing with a 100% Cotton Terry Towel -- this even once they had began marketing the 'Ultimate Wipe'.

Terry isn't always a bad thing -- in fact, I still use it on certain polishes if they skin so that I have a bit more 'cutting' action to get through the skin of the product.

For many, many years, I used nothing but white Cannon Charisma cotton towels. They were made out of 100% Prima cotton... and they were excellent! Not quite as good as some of the high quality MF towels available today... but excellent nonetheless.

When used, and cared for properly, they were perfectly safe on paint.

As RP eluded too, there are good towels, and bad towels no matter what the type.

Seen and felt one in the past, but never used one, I'm often hearing praise for Meguiar’s Soft Buff™ Terry Towels.

RP... I'd rather use a MF towel than a Terry Towel. While there may be some terry's that are nicer than the MF's I have, I don't know what they are, or where to get them.

God forbid I'd rather use MF.....
