It's raining right now, so maybe I'll take some pix to see what water looks like on EX-P.

Maybe we could make this a "post your water droplet pix" thread?
When water sits on my truck it looks more like the pic thump posted. It was raining while I took that picture so the beads didn't have time to settle. I love Collinite. Wouldn't mind some #16 though.

I've been considering trying Pinnacle Souverign, did you get the paste or liquid?

Attworth, 845 doesn't even compare to #16.

Paste. Loved the way it looked. Wasn't too pleased with the durability, but then again its durability was through the middle of winter. Stupid easy to apply and remove though.

Does #16 have the durability that the 845 has? Really like Collinite for the winter.

Ok so I have a question that you probably are going to think I'm a moron for asking, but I might as well ask it anyways.

So when the water beads up like that nice and small, that means that when you go to drive away the small beads are gonna fall off from the movement and wind. The smaller the bead I assume would fall off easier than big ones because there is less to move and also they probably don't leave behind residue.

So could you put #16 on your windows and it would bead up nice and small and just kinda fall off, thus giving you clearer windows in the rain ?

I'm kinda luaghing at myself for asking this, but hey I'm curious

I don't think I'd use wax on the windows.

Rain-x does well though. Light cleaning ability and a good film left behind to repel rain.

A buddy and me were talking the other day about rain-x and another guy jumped in and said that he just wax's his windows and it does the same thing. I might just try that one day.

I've waxed the windows before and it does basically the same thing. But, the only thing I was thinking about. I'd assume that a good cleaner, like Stoners, would remove the wax very easily.
