Sticker?

Does anyone know if the 4X4 sticker on the back of the box is cleared over? If not it's coming off, I like the clean look myself. As a matter of fact I would take all the F150 badges off too if they didn't have holes underneath them...

I am almost sure that they are not. Use your thumbnail and feel if it catches. If it does, then you may be safe.

This may be way off, but i thought people warned against this, or had the dealer do it when bought. Only because the paint under the sticker is slightly different because it hasn't been exposed to the sun and other factors.

Anyway I'm pretty sure they aren't

His truck is a 2008. It hasn't been exposed to anything. Peel em off. I peeled off my 7 year old 4x4 sticker with no issues whatsoever.

True true.

Here's a guy who didn't like the stickers and such on his truck. People told him how to remove. https://www.f150online.com/forums/sh...ight=New+truck

Theyre not cleared. If you take it off shortly after getting the truck you'll be fine. I bought my truck in Feb 07. It had 3K on it. It was built 11/05. I took the sticker off around 10K. It left a "ring" off glue around it, but after detailing it was gone.

Can't even tell I had a sticker.

I did it. Truck looks sooooooo much nicer ! Mine took some clear right off with it. I even had that crap pin stripping all around I had to remove.
With sticker:

Clear coat hole:

Repaint:

** Note: Mine was obviously damaged during transport. After talking with the dealer and members on this site I learned up to 25% of cars can be damaged during transport requiring new paint/body panels, etc. AND they do NOT have to mention this during the sale. They apparetly did a chit job on mine and put the sticker back on BEFORE the clear was dry.
