my brother has a 200 focus. he heated up his emblems with a hair dryer and ran smoe fishing line behind tthem and removed the. it looks nice. I was wondering if the expeditions work the same way...the emblems are so much bigger....i have a 2001 xlt expy. any thoughts?

 

i believe they have the alignment pins behind the emblems,

so no it will not work the same, you will have 3 huge holes in the sheet metal even if you get them off

I know on the F150 there are indexing holes behind the badges. I would have to guess that the Expy is the same since they have the same front quarters as the trucks. I dont know about the tailgate on the Expy though. Hope this helps.
