april plans

In April I am planning on doing a full detail on my truck.
Exterior
Wash(what would be great for this step?)
Clay
Wash(gold class)
Scatch x
Pianaccle swirl removal system(step 1-3)
Synwax
12 hours later Mothers Carnuba
Trim
Gold class trim conditioner
Lets set for 12 hours, then wipe off, and add 303
Interior
303, Leather cleaner&conditioner, vacum(what would be best to get in between my seats? to get the dust
Any ideas or pointers?
Should I do the trim before or after waxing?

cant help you with the detailing as i am still reading up on the sticky to understand how to properly go about it, but as for the vaccuming try this. I use a shop vac and take a CLEAN oil funnel, one that has a fairly long stem and put the cup end up to the shop vac hose, the suction will hold it on and you have a long skinny tube to get to those hard to reach places around the seats and even where the molding and carpet meet.

Looks like you're washing it twice. This really isn't necessary - unless I'm reading it wrong.

As always, a good process is:

1. Wash
2. Clay
3. Defect Removal
4. Seal
5. Wax

As for the products you mentioned, I can't comment as I have not used any of them, except Scratch X.

You can do the trim after waxing, but be careful not to get it on the paint. If you do, you'll want to use a QD to remove it. I don't think you'll need to re-wax any areas that you get the trim detailer on. If I'm wrong, someone correct me.

I always do trim last. Use a MF towel or applicator pad to apply whatever dressing you use and you will cut down on getting it on the paint. I usually always get it on windows but that's an easy fix.
