How to clean plastic bed caps

Is there any way to get the white oxidized stuff of my plastic bed caps. I think there either from the sun or going through the car wash.

If it is still under warranty, I had mine replaced by the dealership for free. I just took it in and complained about it, they ordered new ones and installed for free.

I know this doesnt answer your original question but I hope it will help some.

Good luck,

Clean them as best you can, then wipe hyperdressing on them. They'll look black and great for a long time with just one app.

Good stuff!

Does the hyper-dressing run down the side of the bed though?

yes and no.

Yes, if you don't put it on right.
No, if you put it on right.

On plastic, the reason you see products run is b/c most of the time it's user application error. Always buff off/dry the product even after it air dries.

303 will run but it's again, user error, too much product applied.
HD will also fun, but not if applied correctly
PB TR will also run if not.....see above.

So the net is, there is a learning curve and you have to learn how to use each product and know its nuances.
