Bucket(s) dolly

Gracious, these things are far too expensive, $35 for a single dolly I'm looking for a simple dolly to scoot two five gallon buckets around the garage. While I'm lazy I'm not $70 lazy on this one. The gf already gave me the finger when I suggested she could be the bucket girl. Anyone seen any for cheap or am I better off making one from scraps laying around?

2 Questions:

1. Why are you using 5 gallons of solutions
2. You cannot carry a 5 gal bucket?

don't waste your money, as for washing and rinsing, I use only 3 gallons if that in each bucket.

Make it.

They are ridiculously priced. Like you said, $35 (I've seen them up to $60 for a single) for a piece of plastic with wheels is a bit much. You could always check e-bay.

2 5 gallon buckets should fit pretty well on an old garage creeper.

I was thinking the same thing or even get an actual dolly, screw a piece of board to the top and you've got a nice platform for two buckets.

This may sound strange but the buckets I use have handles on them.

If I want to move them, I use the handles to move them. Pretty easy....

Using a dolly or creeper will be one more thing to get in the way of hose line etc.

Of course, that is must my opinion but if it works, why not.

That's what I use. Grit guards fit perfectly and the buckets have a nice foam pad on the handle.

1. I'm not filling the buckets all the way. About 3 gallons in one and straight water in the other.

2. I'm able to carry the buckets. However, I've got a bit of a bad back and at 6'7" its a pain sometime to bend over to pick them up move them, set them down, pick them up, etc. I can see how trivial that may sound but back pain is no fun.

So I was looking to make life a bit simpler. I found these after searching a bit and it looks like a good solution. I just may need to add a little pole with a flag and another so I's can drag em around

I gotta start spelling out my sarcasm, sorry.

Totally understand, take pictures if you end up making something.

I hear you about the bad back and I'm only 19. Broken L1, L2, and L3 will do that to you.
