Drying with compressed air

Anybody ever do this? Drying a truck off with an air compressor with blower nozzle...I have heard of people using a leaf blower, I suppose this is the same thing just slower, any ideas? Thanks...

I used it yesterday. It's ideal for spots that hold water that you can't get to with a towel easily, like your grille, under the grille, cowl, door handles, anything that will constantly drip that you will need to keep wiping off. I used it on the entire vehicle yesterday because I forgot my drying towels at home. It's hard to get the water off of the entire body of the vehicle with a stream of air so small.

Drying with compressed air

I have stayed away from using the compressor thinking that I might possibly put oil, moisture etc. from the lines or compressor tank onto the truck paint.

Althought I do use my leafblower on my motorcycle and also have tried it on my truck. After I use it I go over the truck/motorcycle with a micofiber towel to get the small water drops that are left anywhere.
It seems to work really well, no water spots and it gets the water out of all the trim and small areas.

I'm thinking about buying the filtered blower that is sold for cars and motorcycles. Then I won't be taking any chance of sending any particles that are picked up in the leafblower or the residue from a compressor.

Nice to see others shopping around at TOTL

If you do order, please say hello to Irene from Jason in Dallas.
