I usually HD either before or after a detail and let the car sit for hours. The last car I did I let it sit over night and blotted in the morning.

Will this stuff stain concrete? I know the other dressings I have used will show up as looking like a dry spot when the drive is wet.

I've found that it tends to run off with copious amount of water. (when I wash my pads the water is running long enough to wash the drive way.)

Stain? Well kind of.

I use a concrete cleaner and powerwasher on my driveway, sidewalks every spring.

But yes you can see where you spray the product. When it rains, my driveway does bead up nicely.

What if it dries before it gets washed off?

Like RR said. I don't notice any dis-coloration. You can tell its there though. I, like him have a pressure washer used to clean the concrete.

if you don't want it to penetrate, would do two things.

1. buy very large tarps and lay them down (don't laugh, I have thought of this more than once)
2. spray what you are spraying, then move the truck/car and wash the area with water to further dilute. This would cut down on the look of it for sure.

The trick is to have the hose flowing across the spot where you're applying... no worries on stains then as it's water based and soluable.

Or... you can just drive your vehicle over into the neighbor's driveway and apply.

I'll usually let the truck sit for a while after cleaning. If I don't forget I'll run the house on the crete in front of 1 wheel at a time about a foot in front of it and just let the water flow around the wheel. Unfortunately I started doing that a little too late.

Shhhhh.

I actually have a place just around the corner from my house. When I am going to do the undercarriage fully, I take my creeper and drive over there.

20 min later...I am out of there.

Just for fun I went outside and spayed a small stripe of 303 Cleaner and APC+ cleaner. Will snap a photo when it's dry to show the results.

LMAO! I had a little undeveloped culdesac where I'd go for EXACTLY the same purpose. It's all developed over there now so, I've been doing it at work in our parking lot there. HAHAHA! It's a small lot (like for 14 cars) so, it's pretty easy to see where I've done the work. HA!

One of the owners saw me out there one Saturday afternoon and asked what I was doing... I told him that I had been in the office working on a report for a client and needed to come out and unwind for a few minutes (which was partially true... ).

Dry up with towel, just pat the towel in the overly wet areas, or blotting, to make the excess spray goaway. poor description but best I could do.
