New Stuff?

Ran across these today and havn't heard them mentioned before.

SYNTHETIC SEALANT #21 2.0 M2116/2164. better than nxt 2.0? Since that seemed to take the #21 1.0's thunder.

Also SYNTHETIC SPRAY DETAILER M13516/13501. Never heard of a spray detailer that was called a "synthetic".

Thoughts? Rumors? Insider knowledge?

I have no thoughts. I heard rumors about them coming out long ago. I get little to no insider knowledge anymore.

I'm just another fly on the wall...

The synthetic spray detailer sounds interesting to me and it looks like it'll come in a gallon size (which is nice).

Several have long since speculated that NXT and #21 (both v. 1.0) were very very very very similar (including me). Knowing that both went to v 2.0 at nearly the same time nearly confirms that they're very very very very similar.

According to Meguiar’s, M135 Synthetic Spray Detailer (M135) is the professional line equivalent of Ultimate Quik Detailer (UQD). I guess that UQD has been such a success in the consumer line that there has been a lot of demand for the product in the professional industry so they created M135 which indeed will come in gallon size.

Just out of curiosity, what is the difference between Meguiar's normal Quick Detailer and the Nxt Detailer?

I have such a large supply of the regular detailer (found an unbelievable deal on it at a local Ace Hardware store and bought them out) that I have not needed to buy any since the Nxt product came out.....

NXT Detailer has those goofy NXT Polymers in it. Between those two products, I'd use QD all day long over the NXT version. I really don't like NXT Detailer but, that's a personal preference.

Word on the street is that M-135 will be out this month. The distributors can see it as a product for purchase but none has shipped from Tennessee yet. M-21 v.2 is due 1st Quarter 2008 and is also available for order but has not yet shipped.

That is correct. All of Meguiar's new products should be released sometime in the next two weeks or so.

M21 2.0 and NXT 2.0 have the Hydrophobic properties of UQD in them.
