I hate the sun.. And waxing question

I washed my truck today, and decided that I hate the sun. Normally I have a good deal of shade when I wash and I have plenty of time to dry. Today however, the sun was just blasting my truck. I swear I had to go over it 3 or 4 times.

Anyway, to the question....

I want to get some minor scratches out of my bed and doors... and fenders... I still get my truck dirty, so I don't wanna detail it, I just want the scratches gone. Do you guys think a hand wax at El Mexico Car wash would do the job? Should I invest the time in hand waxing it myself? (Mind you, time is hard to come by)

Like I said, I'm not planning on detailing this every weekend, so I don't think a DA is in order - I just want the scratches gone til next time I decide to go down some four wheeler trails.

Thanks!

You'll probably chastise me, but I would love for an "expert" of sorts to take a gander. When would you be available?

Due to the weather this weekend I am actually going to try and ride my bike on Sat and Sun. I could prob see your truck on Sat afternoon. No detailing this weekend though. Unless I am too tired to ride again on Sunday.

Lets keep in touch through Sat morning via PM or here.

Sure thing. I'll probably come into work on Saturday morning, so whenever you're free just let me know.
