Well, its about 20 degrees here in Michigan, and I REALLY want to Wash...maybe even full on detail my truck, Is my best solution to just get my truck in a garage and go to work on it?

I'm in the same boat. It's about 8 degrees here in MO, and the truck is pretty muddy. Luckily for me the heat wave is moving in this weekend. Going to be 60 -65 degrees. I think I will wait.

I would say your just going to have to brave the weather and get the job done. Then take it inside for all the other stuff. Make sure you paint is warm enough if doing paint care.

Yeah the only thing is theres chunks of mud that are frozen under the truck that I would like to remove, and Actually, since their frozen, the may be easier to remove in one piece, we'll find out I guess! I'll see If I cant get my truck in our barn with the 11' door, cause theres no way that I can fit in the garage!

jrbhc8 - what part of MO are you from? I am just south of KC on KS side, but I am a Missourian living there for work purposes. Can't wait for nicer weekend to get truck in better condition. How about them Tigers in the Cotton Bowl!

Yeah but they're calling for rain... I washed my truck on Sunday. Yesterday a bird shat on my hood. I'm ** that close to washing the whole damn truck again, but I know it'd be pointless cause of it being way below freezing right now.

And JMM, my dad and brother were at the Cotton Bowl game...

I am sure they had a great time... Hopefully we won't get to much rain over the weekend on west side of state. They are saying it will be Sat nite...

I'm from Central Missouri around the Rolla area. I'm going to try to sneak in a wash around all the rain that is coming, and garage it as uick as possible. Not going to do a major detail, but need put a few hours into it.

I washed my truck before it rained a few weeks ago... It was that dirty that I had to wash it knowing it would be dirty again in an hour. And I wish we had a garage my truck would fit in.

I made my dad cut a whole in our shop to put another garage door when I bought my truck!! Mine won't fit in the house garage, and I don't think that my mom or sister would give up their spots in a heated garage anyway. Just lucky that my dad is a carpenter and was all for my idea.

skrewd,

If you have the ability to heat that space with a high BTU propano/kerosene salimander/torpedo heater would be best bet. heat it up to 70 then start detailing.
