Oh yes, I know this truck...those marks from from the "Ford Detail shop"

I forgot about your thread.

Yeah, like RP's ? By hand? Wow, that will make for a long weekend.

I just don't think that it could be done effectively by hand. A human is a human... and, as such, only has so much endurance. That thing would be a **SIGNIFICANT** undertaking for someone with a PC, much less by hand.

If this pulled into my drive for a detail, it's automatic that the Makita is coming off of the shelf. Plus, I'd have to explain that *MANY* of the scratches that I'm seeing in those photos *WILL NOT* come out completely.

You're on an uphill slope. If it were my money, I'd probably consult the services of a reputable detailer to get it back to good and then do a tad better (if possible -- I say that because I know some trucks are used as trucks and thus, it's tough) job at maintaining the work that the detailer does for you.

That's my $0.02 I often offer a nickel though.

I wont be doing this by hand! My F*ckin arms would hurt for a week! I have a craftsman buffer and a high powered buffer. What are some better products if these arent "the best" products?
