[QUOTE=f-150sport03]agreed 100%. But I didnt drag boxes on my paint... I wonder if sometime there was turnout gear laid on it (then drug off)... I see others doing this at the FD all the time...QUOTE]

My truck has a few spots that this maybe the cause.

So when are you planning on taking a trip north ????????

Both trucks look great and I really like how Jason's KR looks..... do you think that Poorboy's would give a deeper, darker look than the NXT 2x's / #26 Megs combo ????

Man, if I could afford to go there to detail the truck, I would. But, I cant. Why dont you come down here?

Thanks for the kudos, bud! And yes, the PB will likely shock you due to its depth, darkness, and wetness. HOWEVER: The Nattys is not as durable as the 26, so depending on how often you wax should decide of you use Nattys.

I will say that it is VERY hard to beat the looks of 26 for the price...But Nattys is just so darn good looking (and pricey, too...)...

It would have been cool if you were up here yesterday and you would have needed your gear. My department had an old farmhouse donated to us by the owner. Needless to say by the time we left yesterday, all that was left was a smoldering pile of timbers.

I forgot to take my camera with me, but two others chiefs had theirs and will be getting the pictures and will post some up.

Thanks...it was fun. Ryan, FYI, I hit my driver side door pillars today after work...had some new scratches that drove me crazy the whole way home...I kept thinking everyone was looking at it making fun of my dirty truck.

Good as new.

I thought you didnt like the QW+???

Man, that liner thing still cracks me up... Has to suck for you, but at least you get a nice liner in the long run...

There was some wax that you said you thought was causing problems on the Tailgate... I could have sworn it was QW+... Maybe not. I knew you were having problems with S&W, but I have been LOVING it (thanks again, BTW). I dont know why its not smearing on my color. HOWEVER... I am not keen on the very little amount you have to use-- I like the insurance that 34 gives you by being able to overdo it for security. But... at present, I spray how much I think is needed and flip the towel to remove smearing. You may want to try that out next time you play with S&W.

I noticed the Micro Fiber towel in you pic... That is the easiest way to keep the paint looking good. Don't touch it with anything but Micro Fiber.

hmmm... (sarcasm notice***) I touched it with QD, foam pads, my hands, SSR3, clay, SSR1, QW+, Nattys Red...etc...

just kidding. Yeah, MF to remove anything, foam to apply most everything... Keeps it purdy... (this is an "in-general" rule-- doesnt always apply. Wool works for certain situations, but must be followed by other stuff...)
