ICE is pretty much garbage.

Liquid wax from about any company is going to be better. Especially Meguiars.

If you are after durability, go get some NXT. Then, after you wait 12 hours for the NXT to cure, you can apply the liquid wax you bought and it will really make the paint look good. After all that, we can hone you into getting a DA and the other goodies...

If I was you, I would promptly return the Ice. Search on it.

Meguiars, Meguiars, and Meguiars.

I like to do two coats of NXT with 12 hours in between, topped with #26.

Between those two... it's very simple - Meguiar's.

Amongst the detailing world, ICE is considered to be lackluster at best.

I haven't gotten the opportunity to use it on my truck yet, but the NXT sure does a helluva job on my bike......

which Meguiar's liquid wax do you have? NXT Tech wax, Gold Class, #26 or cleaner wax?

if it is the gold class or #26, you can put it on top of the nxt.. if it is the cleaner wax, then don't use it after the nxt.

and as others have mentioned Meguiar's > ice

I agree this works great. I just did #21 on Friday followed by #26 Saturday and it came out great.

Another vote for Meguiars. I usually do two coats of NXT for light colors and for dark colors I'll add #26 High Tech Yellow Wax. I have some #21 coming today so I am going to start using 21 instead of NXT to see how I like it.

You can't really go wrong with any of the Megs waxes and there easy to find.

Those sound good to me. You might also want to think about incorporating some polish in there before you wax. Depending on when the last time you polished was...

With specific regards to the wax, you may want to consider investing a few bucks in a bottle of Meguiar's NXT or Mother's Synwax - or maybe even something better than that...

The reason is that Gold Class Wax, while it is a solid product, lacks in the durability department. In short, you may find that it doesn't seem like it holds up very well. It looks stellar - in fact, one of my favorite show waxes - but, it always seems to fall short on the durability.

That said, going with a nice synthetic PRIOR to applying the Gold Class will likely yield a higher level of durability along with the 'pop' of Gold Class.

Just a thought....

As for the other products - Gold Class Shampoo and the clay -- both are VERY good products, IMO.
