Angry HELP Bad Rail Dust

I just got a new 2007 F350 and I just got around to doing the first wash toady and found that I have some really bad rail dust. After I washed it I clayed a small section to see if I could get it off, and though it took the majority of it off there is still quite a bit left on the truck. So my question is what am I going to have to do to get this crap off of my paint?

Here are some pics.

These pics were not of the area I clayed but all of the really bad spots stayed after I clayed.

Thanks for any help.
Zach

Acid bath. Run over to autopia and search on this one a tad... not sure I can keep my eyes open long enough to type it out.

Also, remember that multiple clay passes will NOT hurt your paint. You may need a few bars but, that's DEFINITELY the easier route.

Thanks for the info, I'll look into that and try and clay it some more. Right now I have the mothers clay bar kit and I know there are stronger/better bars out there but I don't know where to get them.

I know its bad, I couldn't even tell it was there until I real close to the paint when I was washing it. I think becasue the truck was sitting on the lot so long (07 f350 bought a week a go) it didn't get the attention it needed and really built up on the paint. I am in talks with the dealer now so hopefully they will help me out some.

Thanks
Zach

That kit is VERY mild...try clay magic or megs blue or more aggressive megs red clay.

Take it back to the dealership for repair under warranty.

Finish Kare makes a good paint decontamination kit. The basic kit is around $45. I was able to remove all the rail dust on my truck with a Clay Magic clay bar. I dont know if I would take it back to the dealer. They might remove the rail dust but they might add a bunch of swirls.

It has always been my understanding that paint wasnt covered under any kind of warranty...only if it was evident that the manufacturer messed up...neglect after factory SHOULD just be taken care of by the particular dealership...regardless of what kind (ford, doge, chevrolet) because they should stand behind the car they sold you....but as for warranty..i dont think there is anything ford can do
