Yet another test....

I am now up in Fort Smith AR visiting my mother and waiting for the b-party on Sat.

My mother just had her 64th B-day yesterday so I brought all my gear with me to detail her car for her. Its pretty beat on and needs some love. I will try and get some before and afters but i am using my BlackBerry as a modem right now to my Laptop and it won't allow me to upload photos to photobucket.

for those of you asking about white cars/trucks, this one is also white.

Plan is to wash, two bucket, including Megs All Purpose Cleaner on wheels and wheel wells.
Clay
Tape off trim and window washers
Scratch X door handles (Why do women scratch the hell out of that area? )
Poorboys SSR 2.5 or 2 depending on condition after clay
Poorboys Polish and Seal
Poorboys EX-P
Two coats of Nattys Blue
Hyperdress wheels and wheel wells and parts of undercarraige
Poorboys Trim Restorer

Inside
Poorboys Leather stuff
Poorboys Natural Dressing

If time permits, i will detail the engine during the wash.

Wish me luck....

Jewelry, nails, and they just don't care. Swing up to MO while you're down there.

I got several photos but it's overcast here and has been raining so the shots rae not as ground breaking as I wanted.

There was LOTS of marking on this car.

I woke up to rain and thunder so my plan changed a bit. I used NRW with two buckets in the garage. Then clay'ed the crap out of this thing. Used scratchX on the trouble spots. Then:

PB SSR2, Lake Yellow
PB Polish with Sealer, Lake White
PB EX-P (one hour set), Lake Blue
Natty's Blue, Hand with Foam Applicator
Hyperdress'ed the tires and wheel wells
Interior, PB LeatherStuff
PB Natural Shine

DONE
8 hours.

Thanks Mr Favre...I am less impressed only b/c it was so cloudy. I couldn't really show it off. Photos don't really do this justice.

This morning when we were packing the truck, I opened the garage door and the sun was on full blast and it was totally different. I didn't know the car was called White Pearl. Now I know why. the camera was buried in the other car so I didn't get a chance to take that photo.

Yes you should. Car looks good. Now my arms are about to fall off. I just Speed Glazed and #26'd my whole truck BY HAND. Beat that. I found a buffer, but I kinda need some pads to go along with it.
