bugs
try goo gone or any bug and tar remover just READ the directions and be patience. Don't go scrubbing like crazy and if they have been on there to long they might have eaten through ur clear coat. I know I live in florida and those darn love bugs need to come off ASAP.
Poorboys Bug Squash is some of the best. Since you are in Texas this place is a great place to by from. I usually get my order the next day. Windex will strip all of your wax and is not a good idea for paint.

Prevention is the best cure. As soon as I see a lovebug, I wax the front end of my vehicles. If you put a coat of wax and the trouble areas after each wash, they are much easier to wash off.

I'll second the dryer sheet trick.
Just soak it with water, and start wiping the bug mess off. It is amazing, the bug guts just wipe right off with hardly any scrubbing effort at all. I would recommend re-waxing the area after doing this, in case it removes wax as well.

Yea, waxing before love bug season, and during it as well, will do alot in protecting the paint.
I don't know the number of people I've seen who obviously have nver waxed their car. Come love bug season, you see all their front bumpers' clearcoat gone from the bugs.

Let me be the next to jump on the dryer sheet band wagon. It works better then any bug & tar remover you can ever find on the market. I usually wet the front of my truck and use a couple dryer sheets and the bugs are all gone.
