Pollen
Just 'dusty' pollen, correct?
If so, I'd recommend a simple 'flow' wash. That being allowing water (from the hose) to flow across the paint. Once complete, I'd use a QD product and spray down the truck before drying and then blot the truck.
There are no silver bullets... sorry.
One brand line, Finish Kare One (FK1), offers 'anti-static' properties in several of their products. #425 is one of those products -- while I *LOVE* #425, it's not because of it's anti-static properties (which are nearly nil -- if existant at all). Just a FYI.
*edit - I wouldn't water under the hood*. Using a heavily diluted cleaner (Simple Green at 10:1 or so), I'd spray it down and wipe it off. Finish with a dressing if you want -- this may attract more pollen, however.)
