Rock chip care

Hey everyone.

I have a few rock chips on my front bumper/lip and was wondering what the best method was to keep them from rusting out until I can save up enough money to get them fixed at an autobody shop.

There are LOTS of great posts here at the site within the General Care & Detailing forum that many of us have posted. Please give this one a quick search and then sort through -- I think you'll be quite pleased that you *CAN* deal with them so that they don't become bigger problems.

BTW, if you have a 'newer' F-150 (like 97+), your hood is aluminum and thus, will not rust.

Yes, and a large stone can actually gouge the metal surface
