I use a scratch resistant Scotch pad and it works great.

#0000 steel wool works well. I've used Turtle Wax Chrome Polish/Cleaner. It worked wonders on my 27 years old motorcycle exhaust.

Dont think you want to use that stuff on chrome, stainless steel sure.

Crystal Image All Surface Cleaner did wonders on these painted aluminum Bentley wheels. This is AFTER washing multiple times, PB bug squash, and claying.

My personal favorite in the metal polishing arena is Heavy Metal Polish. I've found nothing that I like more...

try windex

Try windex or "off brand window cleaner" (that blueish/clear stuff) im sure that there is somekind of negative effect that sometime will inevitably repost to. But im 18 and surving the best I can...and SHINY CHROME is my oxygen.

I have always used an SOS pad dipped in water. Gently rub the area in a circular motion, not "side to side Daniel Son"
First test it out in an area that is not noticeable to confirm it does not scratch the chrome. I started using SOS pads as a kid to clean the rust off my bicycle rims, then I moved on to cars. I used them on a 1968 pontiac bonneville bumpers...It looked sweet when done.

Bar Keeps Friend and Windex. The Bar Keep is a powder. I sprinkle the powder on a Magic Eraser and give it 3-4 sprays of Windex, It almost completly removes any signs of rust or oxidation. DO NOT DO THIS EVERYTIME! This is my method for when the tips/rims get really nasty.
