I've got the lesser-priced Mother's Langka kit (which is very similar to the full kit at much less cost).

This is a discontinued product but, it actually works quite well as I've used it several times for customers and also on my vehicles (and need to use it again on my vehicles!).

$4 on Ebay

One thing is for sure about the Langka system... it works. But, do not expect perfection. It will GREATLY reduce the visible chip but, if you're down and on top of it, you'll still pick it up quite readily.

So you all think the little touch up paint I got at Ford is not really good to use?

Use it, but don't use the brush that comes in the cap except on large areas. Use a sewing needle to lay real small drops into the chip, don't let the paint flow out of the chip.

The Langka is not paint, it's something to use to level the blob.

See glc's response. You still need the touchup paint. The Langka kit is for finishing the job rather than leaving a blob in place of the chip.

I just ordered a case of 6. I need 2, but I will be re-selling the others. If you can wait a few days, and want it, I'll hook fellow members up with a better price than the single item on ebay.

I don't think it is, I know the red touch up paint is always a brighter shade of red then what's on the truck. It's also a all in one and not a true base and clear layer so that also might be why it never seems to match in color. I just order custom mixed to my paint code in a spray can online, wet sand, paint, wet sand, buff, and voilà.... you can't tell the difference from factory from what I painted (except it's better, no orange peel, lol)

The Ford touch up paint just can't compete with wet sanding and a true base and clear coat (hell, the factory paint brand new off the showroom can't even compete with wet sanding, lol)...

+ 1 for the Langka products. The blob eliminator is great.
