claybar and wax.....finally!

I finally got around to detailing the exterior of my truck today. I was given a zymol three step wax kit that really seemed to work well. I also had a clay bar step between wash and wax to remove some over spray. I will try and post pictures (although I will probably totally botch it up seeing how I have never posted a pic on this site before) but if they don’t pop up check out my gallery- I put comments next to the fresh detail pictures.

I also want to say that the level of detail knowledge you guys have is absolutely phenomenal. I have learned so much from you all in the past several months.

I hope you like the pics!

P.S.- the were no before pictures because the truck was already clean.

in your gallery, look to the right of each individual picture.. you will see a link for forum Codes .. click on that, it will pop up a box with the link for that picture.. then cut and paste .. the box will already have the img tags added, so all you have to do is cut and paste

nice work...mine managed to make it through 10 days in the garage and dodging rain....then today my luck ran out...total rain out on the way home.

Looks like I am going to be busy this weekend.

Same here after 2 weeks of waiting on the rain to stop i finally had my shot yesterday, washed and waxed. Only to drive home through a monsoon today. At least it looked good this morning.

Glad I am not the only one...maybe I will sneak out there during lunch and use no rinse wash and get her back. I am more bummed about the fact I cleaned and detailed the underside...now it looks like chit.

Nice work! You have to love a slicked' up KR! :) Hey! Look! I have one too! (or had -- gosh, my truck looks AWFUL right now)...

...or, maybe even my first KR (which I saw tonight on the interstate -- it looked ABSOLUTELY AWFUL. :( I miss that thing...)

Hey tg150. The tires are toyo a/t's and they are 305/55/20. I believe that is a 33/12.50/20. no need for a bigger tire for me-daily driver. i had them installed for $1350 with an alignment.

Thanks for the compliments guys. Love the truck RP! great color:thumbsup:
