Guinea pig (pics)

Wanted to tryout some products that I haven't used before. Before I used them on a paying person's vehicle.

Megs gold class wash
no clay bar (only been 2 weeks since it had been done)
Megs deepcrystal Paint Cleaner(in liu of 9 or 80. couldn't find it locally)
Megs #7
Megs #26
Megs #26 again

applied with an orbital buffer (till I can afford a g100) and removed by hand with MF towel.

It turned out well. However it was A LOT more work than what I have been doing and although better than before...not by much it seemed to me.

I know there's no tire dressing. lol I'm one of those wierd people that likes the look of a good clean tire better. And yes, I know I have dents. It's an 04 4x4 that's actually used.

looks great, man.

Just out of curiosity, the mossy oak deal you've got on the bottom parts of the panels... Do you treat that like paint? should it be treated as such? I would think that it is to be treated as vinyl, but, I would like to know, because there's always the possibility of getting a customer with this stuff.

Again, looks great, man. I am glad to see that you manage to not only use the 4x4, but you keep the truck looking sharp , too. Very few can do both. Congrats.

Actually I don't do anything to it except wash it and dry it. it's a matte finish, rough to the touch, and very porus. Since it's supposed to be made to take off when you want to, my thought is. If it starts to look bad I'll just put on a new set. maybe took 1 1/2 hours to put it on. It's worked very well in fending off the short stiff stuff in the fields like yukka and dried weeds.

Don't have a G100 yet RP. I'm trying to get by with an orbital till I can order one. I think I may have to break down and order one this week though.
