Emergency

Im detailing a King Ranch today and dont have any KR leather conditioner. Ive called about 7 or 8 different dealerships and none of them have it. I need to find this stuff local TODAY.

Im looking for KR conditioner ONLY, not Lexol, Duragloss, etc.

unless your local Ford stealership has some, or a local KR owner, the only place to get it would be the KR Saddle Shop

Good luck

Thats what I was afraid of. Stealerships didnt have any, which IMO is pretty pathetic on Fords part.

Im located in Northern VA if anyone can help.

The KR Conditioner is near the bottom of my list when it comes to conditioning my castano leather -- and I've been in a KR since 2001.

Your only hope is to either find a local ebay auction where you can buy it now and go pick it up from the seller or the stealerships -- which typically don't stock it because it's not a Ford part; it's a King Ranch product.

I've been dealing with Castano for a while now... I got one bottle of the KR product (for free with some freebie stuff that they gave to many of the initial KR purchasers) and have never bought another bottle since...

You'd be as well off with baseball glove conditioner, as thats about what it is. It tried the KR stuff as well, less than impressed.

How goes it there RP? Long time no talk....

I really like the KR conditioner v/s other conditioners. It is pretty much all I use. I have a few bottles if you want to drive to Elkhorn City, Kentucky to get it.

Generally, that is incorrect. It would be like saying that you MUST use Motorcraft oil to maintain your engine's warranty.

Hey there, Navi!! Defintely good to see you around. I was thinking about you the other day... how's business?

Supposedly, if you use something else, and there is a problem with the leather and you bring it in, they will test what you used on the leather and if it wasnt KR then they wont warranty it.

That would be against the law.

False.

Each Ford dealership has a 'King Ranch Leather Conditioner Testing Kit"? Come on. No way, no how.

Trust me on this one... Having discussed very similar issues with the folks who kicked off the King Ranch trim kit and knowing the *INDIVIDUAL* (not the team, the individual) who was responsible for materials selection on this trim level... you'll just have to believe me.

Like you said though, it's out the door now...
