Question about PC polisher

my expedition is HORRIBLY neglected. i'm not going to keep the truck much longer but i want to detail it before i sell it to make it look more attractive. i figure if i pick up a PC like one of these...

http://www.autodetailingsolutions.co...20Specials.htm

...then i can use it to clean up the truck as much as possible and still have one for the new truck. is there a risk of burning the paint with the PC? what about a list of products to rejuvenate oxidized paint?

lastly, i'll be looking at newer trucks which will have paint that's in better condition than mine. is the PC still good to use for maintenance, or should it only be used when the paint is in dire straight? basically, if the paint is new or in good shape, use elbow grease?

package #2 is a good one to grab .. ask Rick to swap out the NXT Speed detailer for some regular QD and tell him the F150online gang sent you ..

The PC is a great tool for both defect removal, and regular maintainence .. you arms will forever thank you for getting one, as will the finish on your vehicles ..

perfectly acceptable to use it on all paint, including straight off the showroom floor .. the only difference will be the chemicals and pads you choose.

They are very safe to use .. almost to the point of being foolproof, as long as you follow a couple of very basic steps ..

You might want to pick up a few extra pads for the PC while your ordering. You never want to use two different products on the same pad.

Like Gipraw said, the PC is very easy and safe to use. I actually had mine for 3-4 months before I would touch my Camaro with it, but it did not take me long to realize just how easy they are to use. You will definitely need a variety of pads...different cutting characteristics for different tasks/products. And yes, the PC is a perfect tool for maintaining new paint. It is just as effective with polish and wax as it is with compound and swirl removers.
