Chrome or Polished Aluminum

Chrome or Polished Aluminum

Im not sure whether to get Chrome or Polished aluminum rims..Which ones are easier to take care of to keep their shine and will last?

any idea as to what kind of routine maintenence im looking at on either chrome/polished?

chrome is easier to keep cleen and to keeped polished

chrome-soap and water to clean, maybe a coat of wax or protectant

polished LOTS OF ELBOW GREASE IN THE LONG RUN! and you have to be wary of what you spray on them.

i've had polished alum in the past and they were a nightmare, had to polish routinely to get any shine and it still wasn't as good as chrome

As much as I really like the look of polished aluminum, I'll take chrome plating hands down. The only way I'd even consider polished aluminum again is if it's clear coated. You see the "polished" part of the finish doesn't just mean past tense. It means you polish it every single week! I'm getting too old for that crap.
