Got to use my new PC....

Yesterday, wash with duragloss 901 shampoo

Clayed with Clay-Magic (blue bar, used their lube)

Used megs #80 (W8006 pad) (two passes on the hood)

NXT applied with PC (W9006 pad)

Today, S100 applied by hand.

I just hit everywhere I can reach with a little simple green and a med/stiff nylon brush. Then, later, when you are dressing your tires, you can spray some dressing up under there and it looks really nice.

I have been using up all my old, "experimental" tire dressings as wheel well dressings. I had an old spay bottle of original armor-all, and it worked surprisingly well as a wheel well dressing.

Excellent work! I tell you what, you know you've done well when I can count the pin flowers on that bush, which look like it's a pretty good distance away for a reflection shot. I'm loving the definition of the flakes in your paint-- very nice work. Nice looking frame/wheelwells, too. Again, fantastic work.

WARNING: OBJECTS IN REFLECTION ARE CLOSER THAN THEY APPEAR

That bush is only about ten feet away. That said, I am really happy with the results. It was my first time using a PC/DA polisher. I had some very fine swirling, and the #80 got 90% of it with only 1 pass. Actually, I did a second pass on the hood, but didn't get any more swirls out.

Next time, I may try #83 and/or a pad with a little more "cut" to it on a test spot, see if I can get the rest out. (I have the edge pads, too)

wow, the rear wells look great....Boy I know that took a hell of a long time. When I go at my rear wells I am just going to get dirty as all get out and do it by hand. How did you clean that area? Did you cheat and use the steam cleaner....???

I cannot wait to use my S100.....

No steam cleaner...just a lot of time with a spray bottle of Simple Green (1:1) and a long handled nylon brush. Rinse. Repeat...until you are happy with results.
