i did the test like i said i would and tried even different temps of water on it and hot water seemed to effect it the most but didnt completely take it off.

 

i also just went and laid on a thick coat of the stuff and watched it dry. it doesn't stay thick like armor all it either soaks into the plastic or drys like a protective barrier.

What kind of prep do I need to do on my plastic before coating it with 303??? I have a little wax residue on them and want to get them black before the 303 goes on.

 

Use some WD40 and a softer brush to get the wax residue off and then wash it and then let it dry and coat with 303

 

WD40??? i just use house hold dish soap to scrub them down with a sponge. then dry then coat with 303. i actually use one of those scrubbers for washing dishes that you can get at any grocery store. it has a sponge at the end with a soft almost terry cloth type cloth on the end, and the handle holds dish soap. you just fill and scrub.

 

What ever you want to do...all i know is WD40 is an oldschool trick my Dad tought me and it works awesome...Do what you will

 

im not saying anything against it, just never heard of it before. is there a benefit to it?

 

Anyone else had it run. I did my bed rail caps, and it rained alittle bit. Now there are streaks down the side of the bed. Maybe my application procedures were flawed... Any advice?

 

All I know is it works... So i have never tried anything before...that was when I did everything by hand now that I have a PC I will use blue tape to cover all of that...
