I've used a couple products, trying to find something that lasts more than a couple days, but doesn't "sling" off.

So far, I've tried NXT Insane tire shine, two of the Armor Alls(one was the foam, the other the spray), and the Turtle Wax Platinum. The most recent is the Muguiares Hot Shine. So far, so good. Still holding on to the shine after day two, and no excess on my bumper yet, even after a long trip (which is more than can be said of the others I've tried.

The NXT and one of the Armor Alls put a lot of crap on my paint and side trim the next day after applying it, even after a day of "drying." The Turtle wax was average.

Again, this is my personal experiences and what I can remember off the top of my head.

I like this stuff--gel form = no sling and will last a very long time. But ya gotta know, this stuff is ultra, ultra glossy.

My absolute favorite product made by Meguiar's.... Hyper Dressing.

You buy this product by the gallon which, when diluted can make up to 4-gallons of matte-shine dressing. High-shine will yield 2-gallons.

You guys using the aerosol version? If so, be warned, it's kind of a bad player...

You see, it's kind of an ugly player. With Butane, Hexane, Propane and Acetone as key ingredients -- it's probably one that I'd go and chuck in the trash can.

You sure as heck shouldn't smoke when using this one!

I'm going to have to try some of the Hyper-Dressing. I like the gel above but for endurace reasons only. I don't car for the high gloss so much.

RP do you know of a way to tame the gloss down a couple notches without wasting product (e.g.) wiping off? It is what it is I suppose.

I do use the aerosol version and did not know about the bad stuff in it. I always use it outside in a very well ventilated area.

Yeah... just use regular Endurance... not the 'high gloss' version.

Meguiars NXT Insane Shine goes in the wheel wells.

Meguiars Hot Tires goes on the tires.

Nice, thanks.......I didn't realize they made "normal finish. All I've ever seen was the grape. Learned suppin' again.

No problem. The regular version has actually been around a bit longer than the high-gloss product. The regular is definitely shinier than the gloss but, it's not a matte either... kind of equidistant between matte and bling.

I like the gel as it really lasts. I put the grape on over a month ago and it still looks good. Not as glossy, but that's the way I like it. I actually like the looks of Armor All. It's to bad it only lasts a couple days before turning brown.
