Paging RockPick

On page 116 of the June 2007 Motor Trend magazine there are details about the Best Detailer in the World contest from Armor-All. You can win $10,000 towards a dream garage. You can probably find info on the contest on either company's website, I'm just too lazy to look right now.

You should totally enter.

Well with an attitude like that you're bound to fail.

seriously rock pick is very good, but he also uses his own products, there is people that live by the armor-all name that will be willing to work 3x as hard to get there car to look as clean as rock picks can come out. reason rock pick doesnt have to work as hard. is because he stayed in school and learned that armor-all ftl.

Wouldn't winning that be kind of like being named "Best Kia Dealer in the World?"

In all honesty, Armor All isn't the product that our fathers used... They've changed it quite a bit.

First and foremost, it's water based now; not solvent-based. This is obviously a good thing in my opinion. The days of 'cracked' dashes are also gone because we no longer have 'vinyl covered foam' dashboards now -- they're plastic.

While AA isn't my first choice of products, it's not my last.

i know what your saying, and i understand it and i use AA on the dash of my parents 150 (just the wipes) but i still dont think AA can really be compared all the close to meguires and its products, all though if i had to choose between aa and something light turtle wax i would have to go with aa... but for now ill stick with the usual.
