I generally use Klasse All In One after washing. I leave it to cure for 12 hours or so then follow up with a couple coats of P21S carnauba wax. Although the finish looks good and shiny it doesn't really seem to have a lot of depth.

I will leave it to you guys to shoot me down as far as what products I am using etc., but I think they are good products. I do it all by hand, using good quality microfiber towels. I guess I might be happier with a solid color like black or red etc.

Try NXT followed by the carnuba (I'm using Gold Class).

It made a huge difference in mine. I was like you and was disappointed in the post detailing looks of mine until I struck upon that combo.

I don't have any post change pics to reference but it did add considerable depth and makes the metal flake pop.

Still not really happy with the looks of DSG in low light but it's fantastic in direct sunlight.

The orange peel on my Expedition EB is almost criminal, especially on the passenger side.

I spoke with the body shop department of my local Ford dealer, and he said that's pretty normal for Ford SUVs/Trucks. But he said he could remove it if the paint was thick enough.

Apparently, at least for my vehicle, the clear coat on my Expedition is very thick, and a good canidate for wet/sanding and buffing.

For $150, they wet/sanded my whole Expy, and buffed it out to a mirror finish. Now my Expy has a showcar finish!

That's an extra thick textured layer of some sort to (supposedly) prevent stone chips
Makes sense. Matches up well with all the other orange peel.
