I don't know if anyone on here would have the answer for this but I'll ask anyway. As we all know there are carnuba waxes and then there are synthetic waxes. I was curious if it's possible to have a wax that is both carnuba and synthetic at the same time?

I ask because that is what Turtle Wax is advertising it's Ice product as. I also love how on the commercial you can clearly see a bottle of Meguiars NXT (liquid) behind the bottle of Turtle Wax Ice.

 

You can have a solution that offers both waxes at the same time. What you will not get is the same properties of each. Kind of like the following formulas:
Wax A + Wax B = 2 coats of wax
Wax AB = 1 coat of wax.

The single stage will NOT have the same characteristics as the 2 coat system. Also, TW Ice is a waste of time and $$$ IMO. It's only good for the fact that you can apply it and it won't leave white marks all over your plastic. Other than that, it's not very good.

One more thing: TW Ice, to the best of my reccollection is more of a (cheap) polish, and offers very little in the way of protection. You're better off staying away from theis particular line of their products.
