It's difficult to type out responses on a phone. LOL!
My bet is that you detailed the phone on the drive using that Meg Plastix stuff

Naw-- He had it color matched to his truck and clearcoated. That way, he could use his Dremel lika a rotary and get rid of the swirls. He probably waxed it last weekend when it was sunny out after he did the 'Stang. And he didn't forget to add the hyper dressing to the buttons, I'm sure. The screen was surely cleaned with Stoners IG. If anything, he may have used his QD sprays in the truck...

I had white over-spray on another blue color vehicle like that and never did much to it other than clay, wash and wax. It disappeared over time, maybe a year or so. I think the claying is what did it. I just never took the time to try and get it all off in one sitting. I'm reasonably sure clay will remove it. I would be prepaired for it take some time however.

Ok folks... today is the day. It's sunny outside and almost up to 60 degrees. I've got some blue clay, wax, and a new sprayer head for my hose. I'll be taking before and after pics, and I'll post them as soon as I'm done. I'm guessing this is going to take a long damn time from the comments I've read here, so I probably won't have the pics up until tomorrow.

Thanks again for everyone's advice, I just hope it works.

what are you using with the clay?

Your posts makes me nervous that you didn't say you had "lube" for the clay.

Hell I'd try dawn dish soap with the clay. I'm half scared to touch dawn anymore after reading what it does on here.

Horrible idea...

Dawn will break down the oils that are in clay and render the clay a ball of 'goo' after a use or two.

Clay isn't cheap... why thrash it?

If it's latex house paint -- even acrylic -- you're going to find that the clay does a good job, when used properly, of removing this type of problem. Quite frankly, this one is probably a very easy fix...

I figured he could roll it across the ground first.

HEY GUYS!!! I have had a similar problem w/ my red truck, I ran over a can of spilled paint on the interstate because the car in front of my hid it till the last second and then swerved so I would smoke it. It has been like this for atleast a year. Do yall think that it will work on this app also or am I SOL. If so I assume that I can follow the same directions as the other fellow. Who makes a good clay bar (Meguirs)? My truck has been waxed several times since the paint attack, also it is only on the left side. Thank yall

It probably will but, you're more likely to have some residual staining left behind...

Follow the directions as perscribed earlier...

If a regular clay bar doesn't take it off, let us know and we'll walk it up to the next level and snub it.

As for bar manufacs, any will do. You'll be fine with Meguiar's, Mother's, Clay Magic, etc...
