Qadsan, I used Duragloss today

Screw the wheel wells, check out the Megs and Duragloss shine on the paint. That's a '96 by the way. And my apologies about the Dodge thingy. It's the wifes truck. I just had to show qadsan the shine quality.

Duragloss car soap, Clay Magic blue, #83, #80, #20, 303, and the Duragloss Auquawax that qadsan turned me on to.

Not bad for an amateur, eh?

Amateur??? You should be an expert already with the amount of research you've done the last few months.

Very true....Bah-hahaha...I'm still pretty proud of myself though. This is the first whole truck I've ever done with a PC and the proper shine products. I owe you guys a lot, especially where the shine part comes in. Thanks again for all your help.

Thank you Net Wurker......I'll get my Ford on here next weekend. By then I should be able to lift my arms above my head. I don't care what anybody says that's a lot of hard work even with a PC.

You can also top your truck with your S100 nuba wax and spray/wipe it a few hours later with Aquawax. Aquawax will usually look better and feel slicker the following day, but it plays well with with lots of different products and doesn't leave anything behind (no calking, no powder, etc).

And Aquawax will work excellent on those wheels, but don't get it on the rotors. Ater the wheels are thoroughly clean (wash & clayed), you can wipe or carefully spray the wheels with Aquawax. I do it every month. They'll look nice and stay protected for at least a month. Then all you need to do is wipe the wheels down with regular car wash soap + water with a sponge or a microfiber. Your wheels will clean up super quick with just a simple wipe down (no scrubing or harsh cleaners, etc)

Thanks qadsan. I put some of the Auquawax on the wheels already and the metal flake really popped well. I used the megs #20 sealant, then just the Auquawax. I was worn out and didn't want to rub on that truck any longer. That truck has never been paint detailed before (just a sealant) if you can imagine. I'm saving the S100 for MY truck buddy. I do like the Aquawax very well. Coupled with that #20, if a fly should happen to land? He'll be busting his ****.

I'll be detailing my black Ford next weekend now that I know what I'm doing. She'll be getting the premo treatment, save the weather.

I like #20 a lot. I used to use that (and sometiems #66) as one of my go-to cleaner/sealants for some of our RV and trailer work. It's a great one step product that gives months of protection. I still have a couple half gallons of #20 sitting here

Yes I also really like the #20 well. I put it on Saturday and let it cure before the Auquawax today. I was very, pleased how it turned out.

The #80 is also a very, very good product. And the 4" pads worked extremely well with #80.

Thanks again. I surely couldn't have done any of it without your assistance.

Holy crap qadsan.....I got some of that Auquawax on THE brake rotors. That's the wifes truck!! Are you referring to it not being able to stop?

I never gave that a second thought.

You've really got an itchy posting finger tonight rusty... then again, at least you're posting your own stuff rather than C&P'ing from various sites and putting it here...

Well, I think you're right about that RockPick. That probably isn't the best thing to do in all seriousness. I hope I didn't create a conflict of intrest of sorts. I really like it here. So please forgive me if I did step on anybodys toes. I'll try and do beter. I'm glad you said something too.

Nah.. I was just poking at you. I'll snub a post that seemingly crosses over copyright laws. All is well...
