Which Tire Dressing
I realize this is not available in stores- but it's the best I ever used.

That grape tire shine doesn't look to bad rrroscoe. I've purchased some of the High Temp black wax off the that web-site before. They have very reasonable prices and a large inventory.
Thanks for the tip.

WOW thanks for all the help. I went to Auto Zone for the purple Meguiar's but they were out. They did have Meguiar's Hot Shine Gel. Works and looks very nice and is supposed to be long lasting... we'll see. Thanks again everyone for your help. Hey also if you want to see pics, I posted in detailing under (detailed the truck).

Watch the 'Insane Tire Shine - NXT' product... it features Hexane as an ingredient and, coming from the environmental world, hexane is kind of an ugly chemical.
It's not a significant proportion to my recollection but, hexane is a carcinogen and, as such, should be treated with A LOT of respect.

For wheel wells and tires, I go with a 'high shine' of typicall 2:1 or 1:1... whereas in other areas (door jambs and other trim), I'll go with a matte shine of 4:1.
What I'm getting at is that you can dilute the dressing to your preferred look... HIGH gloss to matte.
In my honest opinion, it continues to be the *best* product that Meguiar's makes.

I have tried multiple dressings from Armor All to Back to Black in these areas and have not found anything that gives a consistent shine. Not really looking for that high gloss shine, but something that looks good and gives consistent coverage. I was very happy with Back to Black on areas of the bumper, mirrors and step bars, but the trim around the windows is causing me the biggest grief. Thanks
The reason that you're having some problems with that is because it's a few different types of rubber that are molded together -- I believe. That may explain some of the nonconformity.
I'll be 100% honest with you -- I've never used it on those parts... that said, I can't tell you good/bad/or ugly.
