Factory Rims

What would be the best way to clean these rims. I'm not sure what to use to really get them to shine. They are factory xlt rims. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

They look pretty clean to me! To help with your question, I don't think the factory intended them to shine...They're painted differently than your exterior finish. To clean 'em, use a 50/50 Simple Green (or similar) and water mix; scrub away with a good brush or two. Apply a wax and/or wheel sealant and you're good to go!

Be selective about your brush selection though.... You obviously don't want to go with anything that would have the overall potential to scratch or mar your wheel.

In short, no stiff nylon bristles or battery terminal cleaners (wire)...

Your barometer on this should be if or not you would use this brush on your paint... if the answer is yes, go for it on your wheels. If the answer is no, I wouldn't do it.

Thanks, I'll try waxing them when I wash next.
