How to clean Meguiar's foam buffing pads

Meguiar's does not recommend washing any of the G100 foam buffing pads either by hand or by machine.

Has anyone washed the foam pads like this: http://www.meguiarsonline.com/forums...ead.php?t=9761

I have used that method, but have had more success using Murphy's Oil Soap and my hands, at the sink .. after I am done, and have rinsed thoroughly, I blot dry with a couple of paper towels, then attach the pad to my rotary, hold it down in a 5 gallon bucket, and turn it on at 1000 RPm for a few seconds. that slings the rest fo the water out of it, then I allow them to air dry inside the house, before I bag them back up prior to using them again

Quarter-sized 'blop' of Murphy's Oil Soap. Like Gip mentioned, make certain tha they're dry before putting them into a ziploc for storage. It's really impressive what can grow on a wet buffing pad in a closed ziploc. LOL!
