A few scratches...NOOOOOOO!!!
A few scratches...NOOOOOOO!!!
So yesterday, I decided to go out with some friends off road (at Marin Creek, for those of you who know the DFW area)...and I *might* have brushed up against some limbs... I got some scuffs/scratches doing so. The bad part is that most of them catch my fingernail, so they'll never come out. The good thing is that I don't regret it since I had so much fun and my truck's paint came to me with scratches anyway...
My plan: S-X, wax, etc to cover it up some...
I also plan on telling my boss that it was keyed, not that I went offroading. (Yes, it's 2wd, but it did well, and Marine Creek is easy for a 2wd in most places...)

Well...as I said, it came imperfect. If I had a good paintjob to start with, I'd never offroad it, unless I had a play truck and a nice one...
As far as I'm concerned, it's a truck, and not the best looking one (some scratches, slight body damage, and paint chips), so I get to treat it like a truck, not like I have been, which is to say like a 'vette. I've come to the realization that since it'll never be just right unless I get a respray, why not occasionally have a bit of fun...
