Have you tried the Mr. Clean auto dry. It works pretty good for my 04 black F150.

I use sham-me to soak up large abouts of water on the roof, plastic under the windshield wipers and the snug-top cover. The truck and sham-me are both clean and haver never seen any scratches caused by the sham-me. Leaf blower ? I wouldn't trust it ,that it could have a failure and shoot parts out or suck up something and spit it at the truck. Air compressor maybe better if regulator set low.

Actually the leaf blower wrks great for me. After i'm done with it i have jsut a few drops of water to hit with a microfiber. The less you touch your truck the better.

On a side note, i just hit my 100th post.

as several people have mentioned numerous times in this thread.. there are several options that are a much better solution than a Chamois.

A chamois has no nap, and therefore no ability to isolate any dirt particle from touching your paint while you are drying it off. A good waffle weave, or Terry towel, used in a blotting style is your best choice.. imo.
