Question How do you protect against desert pinstriping?

I am planning on doing some hunting.

My question is how do you protect the paint from scratching from schrubs and limbs that create 'desert pinstrips' in the paint? Is there something that I can do before hand or do I need to buff or wax it after the Huinting trip?

Thanks for your suggstions.

[SARCASM] or just don't brush against anything. ---yeah, definately plan to buff. A good wax job before might help just a smidgeon, and at the least, couldn't hurt any. Good luck with the truck and on the hunt.
