Dealership emblem removal... hair dryer and a lot of patience. Heat it up, peel it off.

I just peeled the decal off (bunch if little decals actually) and used bug and tar remover on the glue residue. The stuff said it was safe for paint, but I went ahead and washed it really good to be safe.

I noticed mine was starting to come off after washing and waxing a couple of weekends ago. I think I will go ahead and pull it off completely this weekend. Will simple green work for getting the glue residue off?

heat gun, body solvent, and a plastic scraper, be careful, and then hit it with some wax

WD-40 works well. Just leave it on for a minute and carefully scrub the remaining glue off. Then add some wax and it will look like the sticker was never there.

I used a plastic razor blade to start, and then just peeled it off .. but it was only on there about 3 weeks ..

RP has the correct approach if it has been on there a while ..

also .. don't use your fingernail .. ti is tempting, but you will end up scratching/marring your paint, and creating more work for yourself ..

I used a preasure washer up close at a angle. Then used goo-gone to remove glue.

+1 for Goo Gone. Be sure and wax afterwards.

I used the salesman at the dealership. Told him that had to come off for me to buy it, he said no problem.

Mine didn't come with one. It was supposed to, but they forgot to put it on. The saleman told me to drive it over to the detail shop so they could add one, so I waited til he walked over there and I left!! Stupid dealer

I told my dealer to remove it or I would bill them 100.00 a month for a rolling advertisement fee... I walked inside to use the restroom and walked right back out... it was gone, imagine that...
