Success with Meguiar's

Hi all, just wanted to share my experience today with Meguiars.

I took my black 2004 screw hunting over the weekend and hit some nasty trails. Got lots of scratches, but it is a truck and I wouldn't own a truck if I wasn't going to use it for it's intended purpose :-)

My arms feel like they are going to fall off, but I'm very happy with the results. I used ScratchX first on all the bad spots, then the 3 step Deep Crystal stuff. There are still some there, but it's amazing how much this stuff made them fade, and it removed 90% of the swirl marks and other scratches that had been on the truck over the last 2 years.

First a few picts of the scratches.

Now the After shots.

all i can say is WOW! I knew scratch-x worked but i think that may be the most dramatic effect i've seen. You definitely get   way up. I hope you had a few beers in the cooler for that job. :)

Looks good. I hope you got a new bonnet for the polisher after laying it on the floor pad site down.

Yeah, I forgot to pick up a new one before starting the job, I took it out and realized it and just did the whole thing by hand. My arms are killing me.

It's well worth the price. You could spend 2 or 3 times that and get something that weighs more and might last longer. I have my oem grill in the garage just in case, but don't think I'll need it. I've had it for 2 1/2 months so far and it still looks like the day I got it. I haven't seen one like it where I live. I see a ton of the billet, flames and skulls ones, I like to have something different than the rest.

last question....do you know who actually makes the grill, because i have seen other sellers with similar ones...and the place you got yours from is out of stock

jakecarter Nov 1, 2006 11:35 PM

No I don't, there are no markings on it, or in the molding under it, I looked when I installed it. The box it came in was just a plain brown box with nothing other than the mailing label on it. The seller I got mine from does have it up for sale right now: http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/Ford-...QQcmdZViewItem
