water spots
Meg's #9 has little to no cut... really not going to give you much help.
There are two types of water spots... a Class I and a Class II (or at least this is kind of how I was taught to deal with them).
A C.I. will be 'ABOVE' the paint whereas the C.II. will be etched into the paint. Both can be removed but, obviously, the second type is much more difficult...
Can you tell if the spots are ABOVE or IN the paint? Let us know...

Double check it... if it is, clay should be a very good option for removal. If there is a slight residual or if the spot has etched very slightly, you may try a product like Meguiar's Scratch-X to remove that.

there is this realy good water spot removal stuff that I have that works really well but I forgot the name. I alsodid it on the glass. not sure if it would be good for the paint.
